URGENT! Hello everyone! I'm looking to fill one more room in a nicely sized apartment in Fort Greene, Brooklyn (Navy Yard area) to begin a year lease starting June 30th. The apartment is on the first floor of a 4-story building, has 3 bedrooms, 1.5 baths, and is fully furnished in all common areas. Rent is $1,346 per person per month plus utilities for nice space and uniquely affordable by NYC standards.
In addition to a kitchen, large dining room, and full bath on the first floor where the three bedrooms are, the apartment includes (because it’s on the first floor) a full basement with windows (natural light) and a half-bath, furnished with a large sectional sofa and a spacious music studio (keyboard, guitars). The building has a rooftop deck with an awesome view of lower Manhattan.
The Brooklyn Navy Yard Wegman’s and downtown Brooklyn are both within walking distance. I am active/athletic, upbeat, social, enjoy playing and composing music, and have a busy work schedule nearby in Brooklyn weekdays and some in NYC on weekends and in the evenings.
I am the third roommate (I’ve been in this apartment for two years) and would like to find a clean/neat, respectful young professional who share similar values, appreciate working hard, and enjoy social interaction. Ideally, I would like to have roommates of similar age – mid-late 20s – who are compatible and communicative.
