Seeking LGBTQIA Roommate!

I am looking for a roommate or a “couple” to sublet an available room in my existing space starting July 1st with an option to move in and prorate ahead of start date. The bedroom is LARGE by New York standards, offers low light, and contains TWO large closets inside the room. You are closest to the bathroom and are across the apartment from my room.

About the Space: I have two friendly and social cats - Stella and Fiona! Given the space, adding another animal wouldn't be ideal. The space is currently *plant* friendly, and gender and poly inclusive. I am looking for LGBTQ+ people, interested in living in community and sharing responsibilities of the space. The lease officially renews August 1, but I am looking for someone to move in by July 1 to sublet the final month. Bedroom is unfurnished - pics are just for reference. Apartment is fully furnished.

Currently located near the Q Line Cortelyou Ave Stop, our apartment is located in a large multi-family building on the outskirts of Ditmas Park. Multiple grocery stores within walking distance, a weekly GrowNYC farmers’ market, and a short walk to Prospect Park are among the highlights. Elevator and laundry in building.

Cost: $1163/mo is needed until July 2025
$950 needed for deposit (due Aug 1)
Utilities (internet, electric and gas) between $60-$100 per month, split evenly.

About me: I am a personal trainer, and artist. I spend a lot of the week cycling around the city. When I am home, I am a nester. I like to share common spaces, occasional meals, and company with the people I am living with. I like to host people, partners, and have gatherings. I am a social person so welcome new people as well!

I am seeking a roommate that is emotionally mature (able to work through conflict respectfully, and communicate / receive boundaries and needs), friendly, and interested in living among community (encouraging, sharing and celebrating one another). Must love cats because they will love you.
