Bushwick room for rent

This is a garden apartment of a brownstone style homes but isn’t actually brown? Townhouse?

Your room has a door that opens up to the back yard but we don’t have access to it. We have full access to the front area at all times.

We’re below the landlords who are awesome! They have young children who of course play and make noise throughout the day so if noise may be bothersome, I wouldn’t suggest this unit for you.

A bit about myself: I’m 33 year old woman, I’ve been living in Brooklyn for a little over 4 years, attended the illustrious *insert HBCU here*, Christian, I love playing music (loudly tbh). Not all the time and not during obnoxious hours but I love a good tune while I’m cleaning, getting ready to go out or having a Beyoncé shower concert.

I really just want a cool roommate that is well rounded, has similar interests as myself or even different interests that I can learn about. Just someone that’s clean and cool to live with.

Our landlords don’t allow pets nor do they allow smoking in the apartment or on the property. If you’re a smoker, that would have to be done elsewhere.

We’ve never had any issues with roaches, bedbugs or anything related.

We would split all bills 50/50 which would include ConEd, WiFi, National Grid and Rent. If you work from home, I think the ConEd split should be adjusted but we can find common ground on that. M

Rent is $1500 a month so to move in it would be first month and 1 month security deposit for a total of 3000. Utilities vary with the seasons and can range from $100 to $200 which is mostly based on the AC/Heat usage. National Grid is about $10 a month and WiFi is $60.

The room has a decent size closet with two doors to open but I wasn’t able to get a current photo b/c my roommate’s things are pretty stacked inside. Also, excuse the clothes on her bed in the photo of her room, she was in the middle of doing her laundry lol.
