La Mesa Private Room $1200

10x12' Room

Hello! I am looking for someone to move into my extra room in La Mesa for $1200, starting as early as mid-July. It is a 12’ x 10’ ( not including closet space) bedroom with AC. You would have your own bathroom, parking spot, and access to the communal office/guest room and in unit laundry.
I am allowing for a cat though the rent would be an additional $100/mo if you do have a fuzzy companion. I am open for couples to move in; that monthly rent would be $1800.
There is quick and easy access to the 8, downtown La Mesa, Costco, two different Trolley lines. The neighborhood knoll is surprisingly quiet, and there is a really good Himalayan and breakfast spot just up the street.
I am looking for someone down to earth and who is respectful. I like to maintain a warm and comfortable space for everyone in the apartment. This is to be a home to all. I am 29 years old, working as a mechanical engineer, I love projects (woodworking, culinary, and patio gardening), board games, kinda-running, rock climbing, whacky adventures, and hosting and opening my place up to fun events. I am a Christian, and like to respect many people’s experiences and insights. I am not the most clean person, though I do value cleanliness and will go on cleaning sprees at least once every other week.
This would be initially a 6 month lease and monthly costs would be: $1200 + utilities (~$80), with a month’s worth initial deposit. Let me know if you are interested!
