Room wanted in Astoria

I am a long term Astoria resident looking for a new room to settle into long term. I work full time as a cocktail consultabt and event manager late afternoons to a little after midnight. I often go away for three or four days every other week or so to visit family in RI or friends out of town. I start work for NYS in the fall as a counselor doing social work that willl be added to my current work schedule. I keep busy in general and am an active member of the community here, the parks alliance, the old astoria neighborhood association and work with many bar and restaurant owners in Astoria in a business capacity promoting events and other happenings. I’m looking for an apartment where I can have some solid downtime, privacy and all around good vibes with a good natured roommate. I’m tidy and don’t use the kitchen much at all except for morning coffee and toast really. I value my ability to do my own thing at the apartment and enjoy reading, writing short fiction and painting in watercolor in my space. I’d love a stoop or terrace or patio to sit at when I’m home from work but would be happy just to have a nice space of my own. All Astoria locations are generally fine with me. Grew up in a big family and then have always lived in roomate situations so I’m used to lively homes and I’m able to go with the flow about others guests and lifestyles. No fuss-
