Looking for female roommate

Hello! I’m a book editor looking for a female roommate to find an apartment with, preferably for an early August move-in, but Sept. 1 at the latest.

I have a lead on a 2-bedroom apartment that my friend is moving out of Sept. 1 on 73rd and 3rd on the Upper East Side- rent would be around $1,515 per person. The bedrooms are very large and it is a 4th floor walk up. Unfortunately no laundry in building but there is a good laundromat on the street.

Otherwise, I’d love to find a place elsewhere with lots of space and light, and ideally laundry. Something unfurnished because I already have a lot of furniture. I work near Columbus Circle, and would like to be able to easily commute there.

I value keeping shared spaces very clean, especially the kitchen and bathroom, and I think that good communication and boundaries are essential. I work from home 2-3 days a week, and I’m allergic to cats. I also don’t smoke. I love going to my writing group, trying new tea places, going to karaoke and kpop concerts, board games, hiking, and traveling. I also have hundreds of books so bookshelves are essential decoration! I’ve lived in NYC for 10 years and my current roommate and I are losing the covid deal on our current place, and she is moving back to NJ.
